Alex Fishman, military analyst writing for Israeli newspaper Yediot Aharonot warned in an article against being happy about the failure of the Arab Springs. He stated that these events might transform suddenly and quite dramatically and that Israeli leaders would not learn a lesson. He signed out by writing “we used to be idiots and we still are”.
