Operation Mersad, a hell for MKO
The Mujahedin-e-Khalq terrorist Organization also known as the MKO, assisted by former Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein started Operation Eternal Light on July 26, 1988 in order to deal a finishing blow on Iran following a ceasefire to the imposed Iraq war on Iran. The operation resulted in the MKO’s eternal dishonor and left many of the grouplet’s members killed.
