Martyr Ayatollah Dr. Mohammad Mofatteh (1928 – 1979)
– Tireless efforts to create unity between the seminary and the university.

– Arrested several times and exiled once to the southern cities of Iran.
– Appreciating Imam Khomeini as the leader of the uprising in the Eid al-Fitr prayer in 1978 in Qeytariyeh, Tehran.
– Membership in the Revolutionary Council.
– Mohammad Mofteh was shot and martyred by the Forqan group on December 18, 1979, while entering the Faculty of Theology.
