The ideals of the Islamic Revolution
Establishment of Islamic economics
Imam Khomeini introduced Islamic economics as something different from “capitalism” and “socialism” and said:
One of the important tasks of scholars, jurists and clergy is to seriously confront the two oppressive and degenerate economic cultures of the East and the West … and to replace the incorrect economic system of the Islamic world with plans and programs. Constructively and comprehensively represent the interests of the deprived and the poor people.
