Zainabiyoun
A number of Pakistani youths who were in Iran, a significant number of whom were students, decided to hold a social gathering in Tehran in the beginning of 2014. The result of this gathering was the formation of the initial nucleus of “Zainabiyoun” with 24 persons to defend the shrine of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS).
In the first half of 2014, the first group of Zainabiyoun managed to reach Syria. After that, the number of Pakistani volunteers to join the Resistance Front increased rapidly, After that, the number of Pakistani volunteers to join the Resistance Front increased rapidly, until the “Zainabiyoun” Brigade became the division, and since then the group has been known as the “Zainabiyoun” Division.
