Hadiths of resistance and jihad

Imam Hussein (as))said:
O God! You Know that what we have done was not to compete for power or to gain worldly status, but to show the signs of your religion and reveal the good (and prosperity) in your land. Let us turn and let your oppressed servants find comfort and security.
