Kwame Nkrumah
Nkrumah is the leader of independence in Ghana, who fought against British colonialism from 1950 to 1956. The British colonialists, who had amassed huge wealth from the gold and diamond mines of this country, made several attempts to kill him after the independence of Ghana. Nkrumah was forced to seek refuge in Romania in 1966 after the bloody military coup, backed by the British. His departure from the country had many negative consequences, among which one was the beginning of civil wars.
