Nelson Mandela
The people of South Africa call him the Father of the Nation a man who fought against racial segregation apartheid policies for most of his life and was sentenced to life imprisonment in 1964 by the then government on charges of sabotage, but 27 years later, under the influence of domestic and was named the first black president of South Africa. Nelson Mandela won the Nobel Peace prize in 1992 as a living symbol of peace and justice.
