Free men of Africa
Patrice Lumumba
Lumumba was ousted due to the conspiracy of the CIA and the Belgian Security Service just a few weeks after he saved the Congo from Belgian colonialism. A year later, the Belgians shot him, his dismembered body was dissolved in a large tank of acid so that nothing is left behind from his remains. Lumumba is considered one of the first Africsns who fought against colonialism. In an impassioned speech that was continually interrupted by the applause of the audience, he angered the king of Belgium by condemning the humiliating behavior of the Belgians towards African people.
