From Intifada to negotiation

With the formation of the Islamic Jihad movement in 1981, the Islamists turned to this movement, which was influenced by the Islamic Revolution of Iran, and the Islamic struggle with the Zionist regime began and continued to 1987, the Islamic Resistance Movement “Hamas” announced his existence. Islamic Jihad and Hamas launched an empty-handed intifada on December 8, 1987, which lasted six years and, for the first time, forced the Zionists to negotiate with the PLO.
